​Who should sign up for this event?

You!! The Whey-Ah-Wichen Whipper is available to all paddlers who possess the necessary confidence to successfully complete their selected distances while ensuring safety. This implies that participants must be capable of independent navigation on the water and possess the skills for self-rescue. Additionally, all racers are required to wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and Leash throughout the entirety of these events.

​​Can I race on my inflatable SUP?

If you are confident in your ability to safely complete the distances you've chosen on your preferred vessel then yes, we'd love to see you at the races!

Do you have any smaller practice events?

Absolutely! We offer a fantastic opportunity for you to experience our 'Tuesday Night Race' Series, where you can participate in the shorter distance race. It's an ideal way to dip your toes and determine if you're ready to take on bigger challenges like the Whey-Ah-Wichen Whipper in September.
